It was a timeless affair when fashion designer, Cydney and Ollie tied the knot at Watsons, with the 180 degree view of the Sydney skyline and the gorgeous backdrop of the water. While Cydney comes from USA, Ollie is Aussie born and bred, and as Ollie had made the commitment to move to America with her, she thought it was only fair to wed in Sydney, where she could show her family and friends where Ollie was from. To show their international guests a few authentically Australian elements, they included a late-night meat pie station along with a wine list focusing on Australia’s best.
Not only a fashion designer, Cydney enjoys party planning via her second business, The Foxalow, and she had always envisaged her wedding day to be full of lots of overgrown flowers, and dripping candles with a coast and garden party theme. The personal touches from the couple make this one wedding to remember for everyone involved, including the mini Casamigos tequila bottles which were scattered around the tables with love poems written on them. They included everything from Pablo Neruda Shakespeare to Joni Mitchell lyrics. The day culminated with all the guests on the dancefloor, which was decked out in disco balls, another personal touch the couple chose to make their wedding extra special.
