Vintage vibes, 180 degree views of the Sydney skyline and the sandy shoreline set the scene for Cydney & Ollie’s Watsons Bay wedding day.
When planning her big day, Cydney took inspiration from her fashion label Stone Cold Fox’s aesthetic – lace, silk, linens and loose, overflowing blooms, which perfectly complimented our classic coastal celebration space. “I wanted it to feel intimate with so many candles, romance and a dance floor filled with disco balls,” she told Vogue. (See the feature here!)
Cydney and her maids celebrated the morning of her wedding in the sweetest style in our bridal suite. “We got the Bridal Suite at the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel and it was filled with flowers and a big breakfast. We all slipped into Stone Cold Fox floral printed silk robes that I gifted everyone.”
The couple wed in our Top Deck space with panoramic views of Sydney Harbour kissing their skin as they said I do. The space was filled with bountiful arrangements of roses, natural benches and fringed umbrellas.
From the tables to the ceremony no detail was spared. Frayed linen runners donned the wooden tables for the couple’s reception set in our Sunset Room, topped with brass cutlery and vintage bottles filled with delicate blooms. The look was made complete with blue and white napkins.
To show their international guests a few authentically Australian elements, they included a late-night meat pie station along with a wine list focusing on Australia’s best. The personal touches didn’t stop there with mini Casamigos tequila bottles gifted to guests with love poems written on them. They included everything from Pablo Neruda Shakespeare to Joni Mitchell lyrics.
As the sun went down, Cydney changed into a custom made Stone Cold Fox short lace dress and the couple partied the night away with their nearest and dearest.
