Spring Styling Wedding Trends
Little Lane Events share the most wow-worthy wedding trends.
As the Sydney weather heats up and spring starts to hit (hello blue skies and beaming sun), wedding season is about to begin! At Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, we know how difficult it can be to read the endless articles about upcoming trends, what the best bonbonnieres are or whether you want a local or destination wedding. That’s why we’ve teamed up with the lovely team from Little Lane Events for the top 4 spring wedding trends to help get your planning teed off!
Moody Yet Whimsical
Bec from Little Lane Events tells us that, “Dried botanicals are the latest craze when it comes to wedding styling trends and are the perfect addition to add drama to your wedding day styling.” Think: dark moody foliage, soft pastel florals, dried palm leaves mixed with rose gold place settings and layers of candlesticks.
Miniature pineapples? We say yes! “Create a tropical luxe feel full of natural timbers, rattan chargers, miniature pineapples, and lush tropical greenery.”
“People are always looking for new and unique ways to celebrate hens parties, baby showers and girly get togethers, so what better way than to get creative and build floral crowns, have a frosé party or have a sit down celebration with your bride tribe.”
In the recent Watsons Bay Wedding Showcase, we saw a beautiful new trend of laser cut and acrylic signs that can be used for place cards, menus, welcome signs and more! “Using acrylic allows us to play with a larger variety of colours and metallic fonts; replacing the timber sign most commonly used with frosted or clear backdrops enables us to create a beautiful yet modern twist to wedding day signage.”
Little Lane Events are our preferred suppliers for wedding and event styling and put these stunning trends on show at our recent Wedding and Event Showcase. For ultimate styling goals, check out the Facebook album.
