Rosé Tinted Glasses

Here at Watsons, we love our wine. Known for our expertise on rosé, frosé and everything in between, we figured that there’s no better way to celebrate our appreciation of all things rosé than to throw a street festival. An entire day dedicated to one of our all-time favourite drinks, our Rosé Street Fest painted the town pink. With perfect Watsons Bay weather and 16+ types of rosé to taste, our celebration was an unmissable day.

Brands like Mirabeau en Provence, Gilbert, Days of Rosé, Molly’s Cradle, Deep Woods Estate and Santa Margharita were on offer for tastings, as well as Young Henry’s beers in case patrons felt like adventuring outside of wine.

Mirabeau en Provence

Not only were the best rosé brands on offer, Rosé Street Fest was also foodie heaven. Mouth- watering food stalls included the Watsons taco truck, charcoal BBQ, burgers and an irresistible sweets stall.

Fluffe’s cute pop-up had sparkly pink rosé flavoured fairy floss that was invented to be as Instagram-ready as it is delicious. Free icy poles from Proud and Punch proved popular too, with their summer-ready flavours pairing perfectly with the wine on offer.

Activation’s added extra entertainment to the day, The Daily Edited’s dog competition gave out exclusive prizes to its lucky winners. The adorable categories included best smile and best cuddles, bringing out the eastern suburb’s cutest dogs to compete. Bailey Nelson’s fun dunk tank provided the LOLs for the day, with patrons getting dunked in water to win a free pair of shades.

Our amazing acoustic artists provided the soundtrack to a sunny Sunday afternoon, making the Rosé Street Fest sound as beautiful as it looked.

With our first ever Rosé Street Fest officially finished for 2018, we’re already gearing up for next year’s epic celebration of rosé. We hope to see you there!
