Enjoying Father’s Day in the Spring Sun

‘Any man can be a father but it takes someone special to be a Dad.’

We all know Sydney weather can be a little confused at times and we’ve been hearing the weatherman’s favourite saying, ‘Four seasons in a day’ more and more. This year, Father’s Day lands on the first day of spring making it the perfect time to take Dad out and enjoy the fresh air, spring sun and some quality time.

The Hornby Lighthouse & Watsons Bay Walk

This two hour walk takes you through some of the best views that Sydney has to offer. You’ll see The Hornby Lighthouse, uninterrupted views of the Harbour, North Head and the picturesque city skyline; expect a Dad Selfie that may see half of someone’s head cut out of the picture. Plan your walk on a clear day, and you’ll be able to see out for miles!

Whale Watching

If Dad has a soft side for animals, whale watching season runs from May all the way to November so spring is a great time to trek out and see or whale or two! The Watsons Bay Walk is a great way for a chance to see these creatures or you can take a day and venture out on a whale watching cruise.
