Should I Have A Small Wedding?

We feel you, wedding planning can be HARD and choosing who to invite… even harder. Here are a few reasons why keeping it smaller might be a good way to go.

Lead times…

Planning a wedding with a lot of guests can mean a lot of planning, plus longer lead times as most venue spaces that can take a large amount of guests can book out years in advance. So if you aren’t an organisation and excel spreadsheet guru,  choosing a more intimate celebration can mean less planning and a shorter lead time, so you don’t need to wait as long to celebrate!

Budget battles…

More people means both more planning and more money. So if you are trying to keep costs to a minimum, perhaps a smaller celebration would be the best way to go.

Face time…

It’s the biggest day of your life, so naturally you want to have some time to get around and have a chat with all of your nearest and dearest. But with 100 or more guests, it can be difficult for you and your partner to chat with everyone, plus have enough time to eat and drink, dance and of course spend some one on one time with each other.
